We didnt get a chance to shoot Sara’s engagement ring during Jeff & Sara’s Engagement session, so we met up and shot these real quick. I love the books she brought along, “Something Blue” and “Something Borrowed”.
And here is her story:

I remember being in high school thinking "I wonder who my husband is? I wonder what he looks like? I wonder what his name is?” Little did I know my husband was that cute Arroyo Grande High water polo player. The tall, handsome, really talented one. His water polo number was number three, as was mine. His swimming event was breastroke, oddly enough mine was too. All throughout high school, at every single swim meet and water polo game I walked right past, I stood right next to, and I swam right before my future husband without even knowing it. Once we graduated from high school we both went on to Cuesta College. Of course we both played water polo. Of course we both sported number three. Soon enough I officially met him and in no time at all fell in love with my future husband. Six years later we’re planning our wedding….which of course is just the beginning...

Get this..Jeff designed it! The middle diamond is from his Mom, the side diamonds are from his “Auntie D” (Aunt Linda), and he bought the other 6. He designed the setting too! <3 <3

Summer has come to a close, but thankfully it is still very nice weather here on the Central Coast! Perfect for beach sessions <3
We started this maternity/family shoot at the Avila Barn, and ended at Avila Beach just in time for the beautiful sunset.
Candice is just glowing! And the boys were so sweet and seriously some of the most well-behaved kids we have ever met. They really enjoyed running through the water at the close of the shoot
Colton is expected to arrive this Fall. And we cant wait to meet him too

Melany and i photographed this pretty little lady on Friday.
We shot the session at her grandmothers house.. her grandma is pretty awesome.. I commented on the beautiful painting of a bouquet that was above the fireplace-and she enthusiastically said you want to use it?! oh let me get it down! YES PLEASE!
And because i know you will ask (Facebook peeps did): the hairpiece with the feather was made last minute by me-it is just a broach from H&M-($4.50 score!)..and a piece of lace i had at home. I also made that cute doily bunting banner. FUN FUN..getting crafty over here!
Again i have to brag about my super rad sis and new business partner Melany Klink, who moved back here from NY last month! It is just SO nice having her with me. First of all we are just attached at the hips so it works out nice..hehe, but seriously the help she is throughout the whole process of every session is such a blessing, and..we are having so much fun!
We are working behind the scenes on the new joint name/logo etc.. we will keep you all posted! Thanks for your support friends <3

My cousin Julie is married!! I traveled to Dallas Texas to document the day. I also got to visit with other family there! I hadn’t seen them in years, it was so good to see everyone!
Jeff and Julie met at her work-a daycare where his kids attended… she claims he was winking at her for weeks before asking her out..hehe They are head over heals with each other!
They chose to keep it sweet & simple and get married in the city courthouse, which was GORGEOUS inside.. seriously the lighting and stairs.. i was in heaven! Our courthouse is all dark and drab, but it was Micheal Jackson’s second home for a while! haha..
So anyway.. here i present to you, Jeff and Julie~

Ive known Sara since High School. We were in water polo and swimming together, and i called her my lil sister because people would say that we looked alike..
She was practically raised in a pool! And last year i photographed her underwater! check those images HERE at the old blog.
Jeff and Sara have been together for 6 years! Aren’t they just the cutest peoples evah!? We shot their session at the beautiful Lopez Lake here on the Central Coast.. it was just perfect for them <3

Meet miss Emma. Just 1 1/2 weeks old <3 She is so dainty.. we loved photographing her, and with her gorgeous parents too! Remember their Maternity session!?
Melany and i fell in LOVE with the nursery theme.. its like “kitschy anthro.”
Do you spot her stuffed friends and book from the maternity sesh?
She was cracking us up with her little ballerina moves, see her graceful little hand in perfect form
